From 2005 to 2006 I was the CEO of CCF - Gestão de Recursos Naturais Unipessoal, Lda., an environmental consultancy firm based in Lagos, Portugal that run two major projects:
1. Road impact assessment on mammalian carnivores in the Algarve (southern Portugal) – section of Highway nº 2 between Almodôvar-Via Longitudinal do Algarve.
Main tasks: Coordination and execution of field work (camera trapping, scent stations, census) for estimates of mammalian carnivore abundance and distribution / Responsible for projects’ reports
2. Elaboration of the "Game Management Map" for the PNSACV and adjacent Nature 2000 sites (in Portuguese)
Main tasks: Development of a strategic and long-term plan for sustainable hunting within these areas
